Dumb, dumber, dumbest. But Pierzynski isn’t the answer. Unfortunately, he may well come cheaply enough so that the Feesh will treat him like he is. It’ll be as if they moved the hole in the infield from Uggla at second (as you can see I am treating him as gonzo) to behind the plate.

I know we’ve got an entire weenter of Larry Beinfest trying to cram the pile of dung that is a Scrooge McLoria budget into his alembic just long enough to squeeze out a fool’s gold nugget or two, and he usually does produce a few. However, now that they have some of the boolpen help they needed so badly last season, they’ve blown open all kinds of holes in the offense, or are in the process of doing so. Dear Buddha, I have a(n admittedly premature) seeking feeling that the 2011 season is already looking like another lost planet expedeetion.
