Obviously, this is way more than kabuki theater to Alderson who otherwise wouldn&#039;t waste his time -- especially right after losing his father and while he&#039;s still in scramble mode to get up to speed in a new job.

And while some like Rubin continue to shamelessly stump for the already failed duo of Melvin and Collins, Alderson reiterated yesterday it was an open field and there was no foregone conclusion.  

I hope Backman or Hale win the job.]]></description>
