Domonic Brown is not ready to be everyday player in the majors, offensively or defensively. They need a right handed bat. Brown needs another year at AAA. The Phillies can’t pay Ibanez $11 million to platoon or sit on the bench. He is their everyday outfielder for 2011 (no one will take his salary in a trade). From the comments, it doesn’t look like Quentin will be a fit.

I doubt Frenchie will be playing this year. His $50K “gift” to a NYC bookie has to raise some eyebrows in MLB. At least you think it would. Especially, when playing for a team that always seems to underperform.

Aaron, Dom Brown is not ready to take over yet. He has glaring problems in the field as well as not that big a bat. Maybe next year, but definitely not yet.
