Brian Cashman is going to rappel down the side of a building for some reason

Brian Cashman

Pop quiz, hot shot! What’s the best thing about Stamford, Connecticut’s “Heights and Lights” Christmas event this year?

(a) that it will feature Yankees GM Brian Cashman rappelling down the side of a building as a “guest elf?” or

(b) that it takes place on the building directly outside of NBC Sports.com’s headquarters, and that some of my remote co-workers will get to watch it while sitting at their desks?

People back at HQ: this is an official request for pics as it’s happening.

In other news, security will be on high alert for Casey Close, who will not be allowed the rapelling area during Cashman’s rappel.

Word has it, He’s looking to find Jeter’s head, which has apparently overinflated itself and floated away.

Rumor was it was going to be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, but they couldn’t fit it down Broadway

LMAO!!! I bet Minka Kelly is wishing something else would get inflated and quick!!! No, not that. I was totally talking about his bank account. Totally. :P

You were obviously talking about his powder room. Or was it his ginormous deck?

Perhaps Jeter and his agent are simply suffering from recto-cranial inversions?

Does that mean someones head is up their backside, or someone’s backside is is smarter than their head is??

    Dear Casey Close,
See, publicity is easy. I’m not going to pay your client $10MM+/year for it on top of his on-field production.
    Signed,
    Brian Cashman
