Go for it guys. I agree with pisano, if Andy comes back it will be as a Yankee. Length of the contract certainly isn't a problem as for dollars I doubt very seriously that will be an issue. Andy will get a raise if he comes back.
Over the past 10 days or so there have been endless articles about the Rangers "going after" about 5 or 6 different players. I think writers are letting that new TV contract the Rangers signed go to their heads.

Nope. Never heard of it.

Okay, so I have this little tiny corner of the internet where I sometimes write these poorly written blog posts about the Yankees. I've loved that team since 1978 because I was six years old, living in Long Island and my father was a delivery man for the company that made the Reggie Bar. Remember the Reggie Bar? All chocolate and nuts and caramel? So anyway, I'm six when Bucky Dent ht that Home Run and my Dad was given tickets to the World Series that year as a bonus for being the best driver at Standard Brands. And... so yeah, been a Yankee fan pretty much my whole life.

And so I have this blog for one reason and one reason only. So I can publically play the "I told you so, look at how smart I am at predicting stuff" game.

And I totally nailed this one! Bear no mind that I wrote that post during the second inning of Game 1 of the series when it looked like the Rangers were easily the best team in baseball, but yeah... I saw the Rangers making a major move for Pettite as my worst nightmare back in October.

(oh and I really have to apologize for the first paragraph of this comment coming off as a hackneyed Brighton Beach Memoirs monologue... 'tell me about George Raft, ma.")

Good luck on this one Rangers. If he comes back for another year he'll be in pinstripes. The Yankees will make him a good offer and unlike Jeter he'll accept it if he wants to play another year.
