I guess they would want Posada as the DH, Montero as the C, and Martin as the backup C? (And fulltime C if Montero can't field the position?)

If I'm Martin, the Red Sox look like the best option.

The Yankees are practically obligated to play Posada at catcher and they've already got some solid backups in waiting.

The Blue Jays appear committed to JP Arencibia and just picked up Jose Molina's option to be his caddy this year.

The Red Sox brought back Jason Varitek, likely in a panic, and have Jarrod Saltalamacchia who has yet to live up to his potential as the other option in an unimposing timeshare situation.

Plus, there is no better place to make your bat look imposing again on a one-year deal than Fenway Park. Martin can ping doubles off the Monster all summer long.
