Classy move Aaron, basically calling Gonzalez a liar.I would assume Gonzalez is telling the truth until proved otherwise. If there is a signed contract, both could have a whole lot of explaining to do if the truth ever comes out.

Sure they discussed it. And sure there was a handshake agreement. Still, its a little like recruiting in college football and basketball: until there is something in writing there is still something to worry about. What they have now is the equivalent to a verbal commitment. And really, Gonzo could have them over a barrel if he wanted to. They already gave away the three prospects. They have to pay him now. “You know that 7yr/$154M deal we talked about? I’ve been thinking, and I’d prefer 8yr/$184M now.” They almost have to pay him. I just hope he will honor his word.

Maybe when it comes to his jersey number than Mike Cameron already has but there is no way I’m buying that Theo and his agent didn’t discuss dollars and years.
