		<description><![CDATA[The Crawford signing didn&#039;t surprise me. I remember an on-field interview with Carl Crawford at Fenway in 2007. After 3+ years, I don&#039;t recall his exact words, but I do recall thinking it sounded like he&#039;d like to play for the Red Sox. It wasn&#039;t the typical respect-for-the-oppostion BS, it was more of an admiration for the Sox&#039; team and organization.  It obviously made an impression on me. How many times do you remember anything about an on-field interview, years later?]]></description>
