Primed players such as Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez, Kenny Lofton, Roberto Alomar, Dennis Martinez and Albert Belle roamed the land, eating those alive and squashing mere mortal and weak opponents along the way.

The world bowed to their commands, all the women in the world fell to their power and athletic beauty. They were Kings in a land of serfs, legends in a land of short stories, and the shining light of all that is baseball talent for centuries to come.

And then, suddenly, the world of the Cleveland Indians grew black, dark and cold. Future giants like CC Sabatha, Cliff Lee, Grady Sizemore and Victor Martinez worked together to bring magic back to the land of Ohio, but to a very brief avail.

Shadows of heroes are whispered upon the grounds now, but nothing more. Men like Trevor Crowe, Luis Valbuena, Lou Marson and Hector Ambriz walk the land of fallen memories. Forgotten men in a forgotten town, covered in mist, tears and cries for what might have been.

God save you, Indians of Cleveland. May you try to march on once again.
