The Yanks screwed around with Chamberlain by trying to convert him into a starter and then sending him back to the bullpen. I still believe he can re-capture that swagger and confidence he displayed when he first came up. I would hate to see him succeed in another uniform

I agree with uyf1950,if the Yankees can deal with him financially they should grab him. He was super reliable unlike the fat toad.(Joba) The Yankees should part ways with Joba and try to get something for him before his value drops even further.

Woods would be better off in the National league. There is no DH and pitching to a pitcher in the ninth spot makes one’s life much much easier then facing some of those powerful lineup in the American League. Having said that if Woods feels he has a good shot at the World Series with the Cubs; please have him pee in the cup and then have it tested? That boy is delusional.

I hope this is one of those reports that doesn’t happen. I would love to see the Yankees be able to re-sign him. Although 2 years isn’t bad it’s the $12M that’s lot of money for a set up man.
