It’s time to take down that plexiglass barrier along the front row of seats behind first base now, and to go ahead and cut the grass between the bag and the foul pole. There’s no need to protect the expensive seat holders from missed pegs and no further need to slow balls down the line. Someone who stands a fair chance of catching them will be on duty next season.
