I’m well out of my tropical habitat this weekend. Leaving the swaying palms and ripening carambolas of macondo behind, I plan to spend three days in Cincinnati in the jaws of that unnatural meteorological condition we call weenter to relish three special holiday concerts by Over the Rhine. Having that image of Friendo, whom I miss so much, to contemplate has been a real comfort. Hang in there, little fella. I’ll be home to throw you your Saturday mouse on Monday. Forgive me?
