no way he finishes the season in boston. with his declining stuff and salary, they’ll have to give him away for a box of balls. he’s going the Eric Gagne route: once impressive stuff that is now getting mashed all over the park.

That’s great news to the rest of the AL, but mark this down before the season is over the right guy will be closing, and his name is Bard. Papelbum doesn’t fool anyone, the AL caught up with him a couple of years ago. He should spend some of the 11 mil.on getting his pursed lips fixed, maybe a good proctologist would help.

Even to the point when they should – Francona is too loyal to veterans. Not a bad fault, as it has payed off a number of times – Big Papi two years in a row now.
