It doesn’t have to be a falling bullet that injures anybody. It could just be a skewed definition of “up in the air.” Especially after the gunman has knocked back a few—maybe Yuengling 40s.

There are very few known cases of people being hit with a falling bullet that actually injured them. The chances of that happening to someone where they hit two people killing one and severely wounding the other when in close proximity to each other is like slim to none. I’d say nearly impossible with the terminal velocity of a bullet. A bullet shot from a pistol has a speed of about 2000 FPS. A falling bullet? Around 300-400 FPS. It would have to hit a person in a very vulnerable spot to actually kill, let alone wound. I’d say a nasty bump if it hit your head, unless your soft spot never grew in……..

With no intention of making a joke here, I got an image of Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase) shooting the Invisible Swordsman here. And there are reports in years past of people injured in the city when other idiots “celebrate” New Year’s by shooting up in the air. This is just another sad, sad story like Ugi Urbina and so many more.

And I note how he hasn’t been charged, and yet he’s STILL being held for a year without bail. Makes you think about the system we have here in the EEUU, doesn’t it?

Were they in a plane? Helicopter? or Hot air ballon? Because if not, he may of shot the only two people known to man who can fly. This gets more sad every time I read about it.
