when will the reds learn there is a reason people like him are available and it’s because they can’t play anymore!great he had a game winning homer for the giants and they gave him the mvp award, does not mean he can be an everyday shortstop and hit leadoff which he will for the reds once dusty writes his name in the lineup. why don’t they just let janish go to a team where he can be more than the batboy like he is for dusty?he did pretty good once last years veteran at short got hurt but not good enough for dusty. so he hits .260 with the hitters they have in that lineup you bat him 8th and enjoy his defense and whatever has offense he gives you. how hard is that to figure out dusty?the reds don’t have money to spend for a real everyday leadoff hitter but they throw awy up to 3 mill on a past his prime guy like this?it’s going to be a long year reds fans.
