Taylor Swift as young Jamie and Richard Gere as Frank, with Jamie gradually aging into Gwyneth Paltrow, and finally Joan Allen.
This is really turning into quite a show - the true tabloid-era reductio ad absurdem of everything that's cockamamie about the business of baseball. ESPN ought to put together the team that brought us The Bronx is Burning and start scoping out a six-part miniseries about the Twilight of the Bums.

In the posts that follow, DJ Short will entertain suggestions for titles for the series, as well as suggestions for casting it. Winners will receive battery-powered disco balls to hang from their living room ceilings.
