I think you should all pray that the story doesn’t follow Oakland groupies (voted “ugliest” in ESPN The Rag’s poll last year.) Although, explosive gunfire could then be included at no additional charge. Personally, this would be great on HBO or Starz, not so much on censored-TV. I’d like to see this placed in Macondo or LA, where we could get kind of a reworked Miami Vice vibe going: glitter, sex, money, crime and great weather. It works for Hawaii-5-0, why not baseball groupies?

I’m kind of the same way. If it’s not a game, race, or golf round I generally don’t watch it.

…of course out of all the stuff on HBT This morning…this is the first thing I clicked on.

If it’s not one of the ESPN’s, The Weather Channel, or a movie with a lot of explosions or gunfire, I don’t generally watch it. Although every once in a while I put the Angry Christian Network on just to crack myself up.

My wife nearly let my son watch Bull Durham (he’s a bigtime Baseball movie buff, the Jackie R story is his favorite, even though it’s like a “b” movie) Lucky for us all I intervened and then made the wife read the back of the package. She was all like”wow”.
That would have been just as bad as when My mother in law let him watch a movie from my collection. Green Jello Cereal killers featuring “whip me teenage babe” the adventures of Shit man” obey the cow god” electric harley house of love” etc…. It’s really crazy, the drummer is Danny Carey from tool actually.. I just found out my copy is worth 60 bucks. a stupid VHS tape is worth something, wow..

How are they going to get the ballplayers to sign off to be on the show? If it’s about how they cheat on their wife/girlfriend there won’t be a single player who allows himself to be aired.

Unless there’s some way that they can be on the show and not have to give permission. But I don’t know all those rules.

Its always good to see that giving up watching television 12 years ago has not actually cost me any part of culture that I give a damn about. Plug in an antenna twice a year, the All Star Game and the playoffs. Aside from that only movies and games.

Plus I get tons more free time, its win/win!

What an empowering message this will be to little girls. Learn to f*ck a professional athlete. Maybe they can give them tips for getting pregnant and living off child support for the rest of their lives as well. Or bait an athlete and play the rape card. Pathetic.
