Perfect timing — I am always looking for a book to pre-order along with Baseball Prospectus on Amazon this time of year so I can get free shipping. At $31.25 for the pair, BP2011 and Jonah’s new book will give me something to read all the way until opening day.

Agreed. Last time I was in Toronto, my buddy said to me, “You know, the entire time we’ve been here, we haven’t been privy to a single obnoxious person. It’s been a nice change.”

That night we went to the Blue Jays-Yankee game where two Canadian 20 year olds decided they were going to heckle Melky Cabrera, of all people. They were so obnoxious that two groups asked to be moved, and the couple next to us finally got the two hosers escorted out by members of the police.

Other than that, you’re absolutely right. There’s always a few bad eggs in the bunch.

I am a fan of Johnah’s writing and excited about the book.

People should also check out Jonah’s podcast which can be found at his website. He covers a variety of things, but does a lot of baseball. His HOF coverage a couple weeks back was very good, and Craig was even a guest back in early December (Episode 6).
