One can always hope. I hope he proves last year was just an anomaly and many of us on this board (myself included) were wrong.

I read through this and at the end I thought, What? No backhanded compliments or anything, This must not be Craig Calcaterra. [scrolls up] I was right. Not that backhanded compliments are bad, usually they’re pretty funny, just that after reading this I knew that it wasn’t Craig. Maybe it’s time for me to find a new hobby.

To uyf1950… I think Kevin Long should get in touch with Ponce de Leon to see if he ever found the fountain of youth, because that’s the only thing that’s gonna help Jeter. Good Luck Kevin!

Jeter is a professional and is doing what is needed to over come a bad year. Expect Jeter to play to the back of his baseball card this year.

Hip, hip Jorge. Just kidding. I know we are talking about Jeter. I just like the way that sounds. Hopefully Jeter can drink a little magic elixir and prove the Yankees management and most Yankee fans (myself included) wrong about last season.
