Please, never again utter "Tori Spelling" and "porn" in the same breath. That'll give me nightmares. Jennie Garth? Maybe.

But I can appreciate the need for bad acting and cheesiness on the tube---I have to admit to watching Saved by the Bell. (In a related aside, I also saw Showgirls, which added porn-ish attributes to that mix. Though Elizabeth Berkeley and Gina Gershon did add something to it ;) .)

I just could not fathom watching a drama about the trials and tribulations of a bunch of rich WASPy brats. Less Than Zero was enough of that. (Though I enjoyed the book a lot.)

You have to learn how to bask in the cheesiness of a show so awful. The acting was terrible. The storylines were trite. Tori Spelling was completely incapable of looking at the camera during the first two seasons. It was almost like watching porn.

What was a better 90210 side story? Ian Ziering's receding hair line in high school? Or the fact that Andrea Zuckerman was the only 35 year old high school student in television history?
