I knew Collins was going to be a dud. He has a Faulkner-reading knuckleballer in his stable and he trots Pelfrey out instead. I wouldn't be surprised if Pelfrey had conceptual difficulties with Harold and the Purple Crayon and gave up on page 3.

I hope he goes 0-20. Not only because he plays for the Mets but because he’s in that Josh Beckett “punk” category for me. At least Beckett has done something in his career. Why this clown is staring down hitters and yapping at them is beyond me. Die Mets Die!!!!

Did we all forget that PAVANO started the 2008 season for the Yankees. you know.. the only one in 16 yrs that the Yanks didnt make it to the playoffs. im just saying…. opening day starter …. not such an honor.
