For the second time in the past two weeks a Mariners player has been arrested.

First it was Milton Bradley being charged with a felony for allegedly threatening a woman and now TMZ reports that Adam Kennedy was arrested last night in California and charged with a DUI.

According to the report Kennedy, who signed a minor-league deal with the Mariners earlier this month, was stopped by police while driving on a freeway around nine o’clock and has already been released.

He only blew a .05, but he’s so scrappy they gave him credit for the .08

“Scrappy” is to be forever replaced by “pretty fly for a white guy”. Starting now.

The Offspring already had their 15 minutes. Please don’t send them to overtime…

Kennedy signing was another great move by the M’s brain trust. Kennedy has had a serious alcohol issue for some time.

Are you surprised? He is a Kennedy…

If Teddy Kennedy drove a Volkswagen beetle, he could have been president.

I like it. A Beetle would have just pinballed down Dike Bridge. Late 60s American cars weren’t really designed to do that…

That’s such a blatant, factual sounding statement. I hope there’s a good bit of evidence to back that up.
