If you had Howard the Duck # 1, you could leverage the Mutts with no problem. If you had The Amazing Spider Man # 1, with verifiable signatures of both Lee and Ditko, you could own the team tomorrow and have the Wilpons hawking copies of Inside Pitch on the sidewalk on opening day.

Craig, imagine the things you could do if YOU owned the Mets. On that topic, which category do you fall under? Big celebrity with not enough money or the guy nobody has ever heard about? Maybe a little of both.

If you did own the Mets, as a Braves fan what would your first move be? My guess is you would find a way to hire Isiah Thomas or Matt Millen as GM. Keep someone capable like Sandy Alderson? Not a chance.
