Gotta love it when the children get uppity.

Did someone remind Mr. Latos that he plays in the NL. Which means he bats at least once a game. And those giant pitchers, except for Zito, throw pretty hard.

Just a thought.

Kid needs to grow up. Remember last season when he said that it wasn’t fair that the Giants picked up new players? He said that there was some sort of honor in the padres keeping the team they broke camp with, and the Giants just trotted out a collection of players with “Giants” on their jersey. What a moron. Do you hear Halladay, Hudson, Cliff Lee or any of the other players the Giants beat in the playoffs bitching? No you don’t, because they are men, not bitchy little boys crying like Latos. Even his own teammates called his comments last season were stupid. When the Padres finish in 4th place I can only guess what he will cry about. Maybe he’ll say that it’s not fair that Kemp, CarGo, Posey, Tulo, and others are so good, that they hit his fastballs over fences!

Because of the Padres unexpected success last year , there were several times where the team was profiled and they did all the behind the scenes kind of stuff. Every story about Latos was essentially about him being a total jagoff from the time he was a young teen. Apparently he’s tried to be a better person lately but I remember the headshot that kept being used for him last season and you could see the arrogance oozing from every pore. Shockingly he wasn’t a very much liked teammate on every level he has played on, even the Padres. bottom line, he faded when it counted last year so he should clean that up first before worrying about anyone else.

I can’t wait for this season to start. All this buildup and tension and rumor and now genuine HATE!? Gonna be a good year. I wonder what the odds are for when Latos plunks his first Giant? I got 2nd time he sees them.
