		<description><![CDATA[I remember when Gerut had his big rookie season for the Tribe back in 2003, I was really excited about what I thought was to come. The next spring Peter Gammons had a column in which he quoted Gerut extensively, talking about how he planned to avoid the sophomore slump. It didn&#039;t happen the way he planned, but I&#039;ve always remembered how thoughtful Gerut seemed. I wish him all the best in whatever he does next.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ll always remember him being apart of the Indians, but he moved around alot in the last few years and had wise words on his retirement. Once the love has gone or diminished than it must be gruelling to compete (money aside of course). All the best to him.]]></description>
