Depends where you are. On an interstate or other type of limited-access highway, you’re usually fine at 10 over (unless it’s on I-195 in Jersey – state troopers are massive douches there), but on local roads, they tend to be less forgiving.

“only going 10 miles per hour over the speed limit” That’s certain to get a ticket unless the cop just doesn’t feel up to giving one. I find usually 4-5 mph over the limit, you can generally get away with. Or it also could have been the uniform. Maybe the cop is a Reds fan!

Especially if he was driving to camp at like 6am or something with all the old folks around. We have the noise police up here too. All I know is, do not play Linkin Park at 120 decibles before 8am if you’re in northern Connecticut.

I heard he was blasting Creed at very high decibels and singing along which was the real reason he was pulled over. It was not the state troopers it was the music police.
