In addition to what BC said, this isn’t the first time he’s had alcohol-related legal issues, which I’m sure would come into play.

In CT, it’s (I believe) a six month license suspension, a fine, and mandatory counseling. That, plus considerations for whatever personal or property damage you cause, obviously.
I wasn’t thinking Cabrera would do jail time for the DUI. I’d figure that walking into a bar and threatening to kill people and blow up the bar would mean some time in the hoosecow. That, and throw resisting arrest on top of that (which is going to be impossible to get a conviction on given these bonehead cops), and you’re looking at a year in jail, I’d guess.

As far as I know, that’s Miggy’s first DUI. I don;t know where you live but around here you would never do jail time for a first offense. You lose you licence for a year and pay a fine.

Holy bleep did these guys blow it. And why the heck was there no dashboard cam? I thought that was pretty much standard these days?
Community service, license suspension, court-ordering counseling and a fine.
If that’s you or me, we’re in jail for 1 to 3 years. Sickening.
