Still can’t admit that the Giants might actually be the better team between the two I guess. The Giants aren’t an extremely talented team they just beat an extremely talented team. That makes perfect sense.

in the grand scheme of things…the Giants are the reigning world champs until they are dethroned. speculate all you want philly fans on how the season plays out. i’m still flexing on how the Giants gave a beatdown to the phillies which is not speculation. i just wanted to throw that out there and rub it in the philly fans face. mmmwwhhhaaaaa… and i only do ths beause i know it bugs the sh*t out of philly fans…hehehe. normally, i’m cool about these things but i think philly fans need an ego check now and then.

agree sticks…BW will be fine. The Giants will be fine…I’m not gonna get my panties in a bunch over something that we won’t know about till after August…

Well I normally don’t read the blog unless I am getting paid. However I happened onto it this morning to kill some time and I’m not really surprised the guy is having issues. Remember how much cole struggled after the phillies won it all in 2008. It’s human nature. That’s why only extremely talented teams can repeat success for more than one or two years for the most part. Contrary to what sticks will have people believe, the Giants are going to struggle this year. Whether they win depends on them getting to the dance. Of they get there, they can repeat. But I haves feeling the season will not go well for them. Not because of anything more than being “fat and happy”. The Phillies are hungry. The giants are happy. Could spell trouble during the hot summer months.

What is there to say really? Guy strained a muscle in his side. He might miss the the first week or two of the season but it’s not the end of the world. As long as the team babies it a little and plays it safe he should be fine for 95% of the season, and given the depth in the bullpen I can deal with that. Kroon has a ton of experience closing games in Japan and if Wilson opens the year on the DL maybe that gives Kroon a chance to make the team and have an impact.

If the muscle strain is still bothersome in a month, then I’ll be worried.

Wow…almost eight full hours since this was posted, and we have not heard a single word from seeingwhatsticks…somewhat odd, dontcha think? Of course, my guess would be that he’ll say something now—and based on his history, it’ll be some sort of reference to how bad he thinks the Phightins are compared to the Dwarves.
