I keep saying to myself that it’s good that all the bad luck and injuries are happening now instead of in September and October. Then I remember that there’s not a finite amount of injuries and bad luck. The guys aren’t limited to one injury per year.

Well, that’s kind of scary. I’m glad he’s ok, but there’s been a lot of bad luck around that team this pre-season…You fellas know that Hallady took a ball off the shin once and broke his leg? Then had the flu followed by appendicitis? If the gods of monkeys and men are fickle this year and, according to Jobu if your name is Roy, this could be just the beginnings of a season of bad luck. I’m just the messenger.
Somewhere, Johnny Gomes is clearing his throat and muttering “doe, rae, me…”; he claims he’s practicing for an audition in the next Karate Kid sequel…
