Sure, Huff has proven himself to be a pretty solid hitter, even in that park, but when was the last time he consistently played outfield? I think especially in that spacious right field I’m very weary of his ability to be at least a servicable RFer considering his age and the fact he’s not exactly great at 1st either. Add in the fact you’re already throwing Burrell out there who’s atrocious in the field I think you could make a case this makes the Giants one of the worst defensive teams in the league at least as far as the outfield.

Worst case scenario he proves he’s not ready for the big time and heads back to AAA for a period of time. Considering the low expectations one should have of Huff/Burrell, Belt starting at 1B makes all kinds of sense.
