Grady Sizemore continued his comeback from microfracture knee surgery by going 0-for-4 while playing in a minor-league exhibition game against Ohio State yesterday.

Sizemore, who has been sidelined since last May, is scheduled to take today off before heading to Double-A for the Eastern League season opener Thursday.

Sizemore told Doug Lesmerises of the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he’s “shooting for mid-April to late April” as a return timetable, but considering he hasn’t been cleared to participate in back-to-back games yet early May seems like a more realistic goal.
