Video: JFK joins the Nats’ Presidents’ Race. And he’s the bad guy.

Apr 14, 2011, 10:30 AM EDT

Via Dan Steinberg and via Let Teddy win, here’s a video of last night’s President’s Race at Nats Park.  The news: A fifth president made an appearance: JFK, though he’s not a permanent addition, the Nats are saying.  I find it hilarious that JFK of all people ambushes someone.  Knocks George Washington back … and to the left.  Back … and to the left:

From where I was sitting at Nats Park (club level, behind 3B), it was difficult to see what was going on. Didn’t miss much.

True, they’ve pretty much run out of ideas. It’s not nearly as entertaining as before.

BTW, the Brewers are in town this weekend. The presidents have a standing challenge to the racing sausages; we’ll see if they show up.

But, JFK was an AMBUSHER. He AMBUSHED DiMaggio’s old lady for cryin’ out load, err-a err-a, I mean “Loud”.

As a former mascot racer (modestly brushes shoulder off), it’s hard to come up with creative ideas. The guys in DC do an awesome job. I wish we could have used props as well.
