ESPN had it on their main page last night, so it’s makin’ some news. The Giants also raised money at a ballgame and donated money on behalf of the organization to Stow. That’s a class A organization, in my opinion.

I do wager that Dykstra will remain in the news a bit longer than this though…

Nonetheless, this is an extremely stand-up gesture that should be headlined in the media, relative to the other scandals and Dykstras filling up the airwaves.

The Dodger organization, and guys at the MLB offices should take note. The Stow family shouldnt have to pay a dime of these medical expenses. They have enough to worry about.

It is extremely sad that some people take rivarly in sports to this kind of level. Heckling the other team and giving your friends who like other teams crap for it is always okay… Violence? Come on. This of course is an isolated incident.. but I still can’t believe it happened.
