		<description><![CDATA[Bay signing with the Mets was just another blown golden marketing opportunity for a team that could have really used him, even if he turned out to be a disappointment at the plate.  In Bay&#039;s case, he should have been signed by either the Giants or the A&#039;s so that they could have marketed the slogan: &quot;Down by the Bay!&quot;.

An even bigger missed opportunity though was when the Giants didn&#039;t jump on signing Josh Fogg the two times he became a free agent.  What more natural marketing slogan than: &quot;As Fogg rolls in from the bullpen down by the Bay?&quot;]]></description>
