Prior isn’t costing us the price of a bag of balls. Neither is Millwood or, by the way, Garcia or Colon. So far, looks like we’re batting 1.000 with the warrantyless “as is” guys we’ve brought to the show.

Like Aaron said, if Prior manages to show up in the Bronx pen later in the season — even if it’s just to burn a couple of innings to save our regular middle relievers for the stretch run — it’s all gravy.

They really do remind me of certain things that are inevitable and cannot, or at the very least should not, be altered from their proper course (the sun, moon, stars, gravity, Mark Prior).
