We thought he was the answer in CF. Not to mention a nice change from Lastings Milledge’s act.

That lasted about half a season, before getting hurt. Since then, his flamboyant, “Tony Plush” act wore out with the mounting defensive and baserunning mistakes and inability to setal first base. He made a pinch-hitting appearance last Sunday at Nats Park, and was booed.

Maybe he’ll use this opportunity on the DL to bulk up and go seek his fortune among the yowling decerebrates who dig that sort of thing. Hell, he could become a butch drag queen and break into roller derby with that speed and lousy attitude. Baseball will spin on very nicely without him.
