Chase, Rube and Chuck, don't rush it back. Rest up for as long as you need. Don't come back until you are 100%. The Phightins are holding it together right now. They'll need you much more later on in the season for the playoff push and playoffs. Take it easy.

Given all of the early projections of season-ending surgery and "hopefully by the All-Star break"...I'd say this is still pretty optimistic and has to be considered good news for Phillies fans.

Now we'll see if/when he actually makes it back to the field.

Seems a little long to me. After all the updates of late and the videos of him running I figured hed be back middle of May. Dont get me wrong Im happy they are going to take it slow. Id rather the Phillies be extra cautious and be without him now when there winning then to need him later when there not winning and Utley not being able to play b/c they rushed him back and he exasperated his condition.

Anyway after hearing what Amaro said when do you think he will start making rehad assignments 19th-20th? To give him a full week of game action before he rejoins the team. Or do you think they will start him earlier and have him play a game then rest a day or 2 to see how it responds? And continue to do that until hes able to go everyday.
