If knowing that the young fireballer might break down if he threw a lot and managing so as your team was putting up more wins than losses is “not knowing what you’re doing” I really, REALLY wish John Farrell didn’t know what he was doing either.

Jays lost today. Leaving Molina on 2nd, AHEAD of Woodward, a much faster pinch runner and the tying run, on 1st, when you had damn good catcher like Arencebia on the bench (who for a catcher, is pretty quick, or at any rate quicker than Jose Molina; I have nose hairs that grow faster than Jose runs), is a really curious decision. Perhaps there is some quirk or rule of baseball that I am missing, but I do not understand Farrell’s decisions there. But yeah, he’s better than Ron Washington (sarcasm). Or something.
