No pitchers? There’s a certain inherent perspective bias in this, obviously. Josh Johnson is far more underrated than Zim or Choo, IMO.

OK, you convinced that Choo really is underrated, if a Tribe fan thinks he is merely average.

Choo single-handedly won the Asian games to keep his ass out of the Korean military. Definitely the most underrated here and probably rated just about right in Korea.

I want to rephrase that Choo is a VERY GOOD choice, before that gets disputed. Easily one of teh top 3 that comes to mind.

Hmmmm…given Young’s low BB% and poor fielding numbers across the diamond, plus playing in a favorable offensive run environment in Arlington, I’d think him a more appropriate nominee for most overrated player. And I would classify Gonzalez as just “rated”.

Choo isn’t a bad choice, but I think Zimmerman might be better. Over the last three years, he’s posted the 7th highest fWAR, behind the usual suspects of Pujols, Utley, Longoria, Ramirez, Mauer, and Holliday.
