This season isn’t about this season in Baltimore. It’s developing the young SPs for next season, where the Os will (hopefully) get a few key free agent additions, and beyond. If Millwood has that unstatistically validated veteran-y leadership tutor thing about him, and he signs for a very reasonable figure, and eats innings where needed while putting up replacement level numbers, it’s not necessarily a bad idea.

Millwood should take any offer he can get, even if it is another minor league deal. Based on his recent performances that’s probably the best he can hope for. In my opinion if he waits for a major league guaranteed contract he’s going to be waiting a very long time.
