Johnny Cueto is scheduled to come off the disabled list and rejoin the Reds’ rotation Saturday after being sidelined since mid-March with a triceps injury and to make room for his return Mike Leake is heading to the bullpen.

Leake pitched well in his first two starts after being charged with shoplifting $60 worth of shirts from Macy’s, tossing a pair of Quality Starts, but he got rocked for seven runs in 3.2 innings yesterday and has a 5.77 ERA in six starts overall.

Leake’s struggles actually date back to the middle of last season. He was 5-0 with a 2.22 ERA through June 5, but since then Leake has a 6.23 ERA and has allowed 127 hits, including 20 homers, in 100 innings.

alright! that’s just what the reds need his arm is all healed and he was tearing it up in the minores! ok well his arm is all head but at least he went fa into the games he pitched. wait a min. going 4 innings and throwing a hundred pitches is not good?but hey it doesn’t matter his arm is all healed and he will save the reds season right?who makes these decisions for the reds? why on earth would they bring him back to suck for the reds when he can’t go 4 innings in the minors?give it 2 maybe 3 weeks tops before he is on the dl then has tommy john surgery.

I hope the coward at least makes it to the next series with the Cardinals because he sure as hell won’t make it out healthy.

Oh ya, Baker will find some lame excuse to skip him ….again..

are you whiny bitches ever going to shut up about that?great you beat the reds head to head but who won the division?try fighting one on one next time time instead of having your team pin the guy against the wall and you won’t have to worry about getting kicked.notice how quiet the cards are now that they are in the lead in the division but the minute they fall behind all the whining will start again ,arroyo is cheating, they are trying to hit us by pitching inside on and on it goes and that is the reason everybody, not just reds fan hate the cards.

Typcial response, making excuses for the coward.

One on one? You’ve got to be kidding, like the pile was solely Cards driven. Gimme a break..

I’ve got no problem with the Reds organization – hell, Brandon Phillips has gone from goofy loudmouth to entertaining. Votto, Rolen, Renteria and the rest all class acts but Queto??

Convicted baseball felon who will have his day in Cardinal court soon enough with Carpenter being judge, jury and executioner.
