Since it’s clearly stated in the write-up that managers can’t argue balk calls, or balls and strikes, or any other judgement calls, maybe they just need to shut the hell up, stay in the dugout, and follow the rules instead of running out every time they disagree with something.

Francona’s ejection was justified. Maybe he should have turned around, walked off the field, and let it end. Or better yet, not come out of the dugout and violate the rulebook.

You guys keep complaining about the umpires being prima donna’s. How about the managers and thier total disregard for the rulebook?

I keep hearing those two umpires names over and over and its never a good thing. It seems to always be bad calls, confrontations, and suspensions and ejections.

I mean we all know Bud Selig is in a coma, but someone in MLB has to see what is going on and do something about these two bad umpires

Yes I am a Red Sox fan. Now that is out of the way, Tito rarely gets tossed out of games, he is not the confrontational type. I think the umpire (West) was totaly out of control, whether the balk was justified or not. His crew has more issues than any other umpire crew. When will MLB acknowledge this and do something about him and his cohorts?

No way that call was correct, and the replay video confirms it. Cowboy Joe West and Angel Hernandez once again managed to make it all about them. Those two are a joke, and an embarrassment to the game.

It has gotten to the point that when they are umpiring especially behind the plate I will not watch the game. Hernandez has too quick an ejection finger and West is a pompous ass. THEY BOTH CAN AND HAVE RUINED GAMES FOR THE FANS!!!!

West and Hernandez are two pieces of CR*P and both a detriment to the game. They are both confrontational, both think they are bigger then the game itself and both need a major bitch slap. Shame on Selig for empowering these two morons at the exense of the fans.

Another instance with this crew. If you toss 3 managers within a week… is the problem the managers? I don’t want to know the names of umpires but when they keep doing this sh!t who can say they are not drawing attention to themselves?

Also, the call was in no way correct. His foot, on replays, was pointed 90 degrees all the way to third. West’s whole crew is a joke.

Hexcuuuuuse me! What? West bumped Francona not Francona bumped West. Shouldn’t fat Joe have to take the suspension? The Fat Cowboy did much the same thing when he stuck his huge lard a$$ between Fairchild and Upton when BJ blew his stack over that ‘strike zone’ Fairchild was calling.

Dear MLB: Stick Fat Cowboy Joe on his oversized high horse for a weeks worth of games for sticking his enormous arse into situations which he only inflames with his sweaty greasy self. That is all.

Yeah, this was an embarrassment. Tito’s going to sit a while, but West truly instigated the contact and was, by far, the aggressor. Why would MLB allow him to continue calling games when he’s clearly guilty of actions that would get any player or coach suspended? And yet I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

No accountability for these so called “umpires.” Awful at their job and always making a spectacle. I watched this unfold live and watching Cowboy Joe constantly bump Francona made him look utterly ridiculous. But what doesn’t that man do that makes him look that way? These men have to go, an embarrassment to all of MLB. As I’ve professed before, assemble a vigilant posse and proceed with the Rogue Umpire Roundup.
