Nice to see Upton appealed his two-game suspension not because he expected to reduce it, but simply because he didn’t want to miss playing in Baltimore. And who can blame him for that.

Before he walked off the Blue Jays last week he nearly hit 2 more homers; they were to the deepest part of the field and took Patterson right to the wall to bring in. I’d say he’s going to get walked a lot this season if he keeps this up, but then he’s no picnic on the basepaths either. The dude can play some ball.
