I’ll take Mayberry or Brown in place of Francisco. Guys like him drive me nuts. He has that nice swing that connects once in a while and it’s a pretty thing to see but somehow, someway these kind of guys always end up with the same bad/mediocre at best results in the end. But he gets that nice hit here and there and we have to hear for the next few weeks how he just needs a chance to play. He’ll then proceed to try and jack everything out of the park to left field for his next 50 at bats. He’s a 7 hole hitter at best when the rest of the lineup is loaded. Certainly not a 5 hitter on a playoff caliber club that depends heavily on the 5 hole guy for protection for Howard.

My prediction: Back either for the 5/18 short series vs. Colorado, or the 5/20 series against Texas, coinciding with the recall of D.Brown. Utley hits at an elite level with the occasional day off.

We need Utley back in the line-up, no doubt. Just dont want to see him rushed back only to re-aggrevate his knee. I’d be fine with him returning after the all-star break. Just be ready and stay healthy for the playoffs!! But if he is 100% healthy and ready to go now, then I’ll take it.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the line-up when he’s back. I guess its safe to assume Polly goes back to the 2-hole, Chase bats 3, and Victorino goes to 5?

I want to see Domonic Brown get a chance to spark the offense too. Ben Francisco aint gonna cut it in RF.

Desperately need him back in the line up. This offense has been borderline horrific to watch at times.
