The Royals and Pirates have been run poorly for many years. For that reason I think it’s good that they suck. What would be even better is if their jackass owners actually lost money so they would be forced to sell to someone who could actually run the teams well. That would be good for the whole league. Imagine if all the clubs were putting as much effort into player development as teams like the Braves, Rays, A’s and Twins … the overall product would be so much better and there would be a lot more competition regardless of payroll.

And honestly, the Yankees and Red Sox can only overpay 50 players. Wish people would stop crying about that and hold their own teams accountable instead. (Don’t like how they’re running things, don’t go to the game. If nobody comes they’ll sell, don’t worry.)

I’m well aware of how the series went down. There are a lot of if’s in baseball. It’s the “ifs” that make a difference.

I wouldn’t worry too much Yankee Fan, the last time the Royals did you like this you won the World Series. Just let us Royals Fans have fun at your expense while we can.

If you want to rant on Glass and the way KC has been run for the past 15 years fine (they deserve it), but get your facts straight.

But lets face it. If Hosmer is a stud. Anyone outside the I95 corridor won’t have a shot at signing him anyway. And that’s still why MLB has an effed up economic policy.

From an organizational stand point it’s way too early to sign Hosmer. There’s still guys chasing storms that could be studs. Even if the Royals lock some of them up, they’re not going to lock ALL of them up.

Just chill Royals Fans. I mean they just took 2 of 3 from the Evil Empire in games where the SP were Vin Mazzaro and Sean O’Sullivan. (how do you feel about that Yankee Fan) Wear your gear and smile.

Royals’ owner David Glass is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. In the event you have been sleeping under a rock let me inform you that that dude is a multi millionaire.

During his tenure as owner, Glass has been criticized for using the same cost-cutting management style of the Wal-Mart company with the Royals baseball team, resulting in large personal profits for himself but a poorly-performing team. Glass’ management is cited for transforming the Royals from a winning team in the 1980s to one of the worst teams in Major League Baseball during the 1990s and 2000s.

So keep on spending your hard earned money at Kaufman Stadium. I for one don’t feel any pity for you or those other naive Royals fans that fall for Glass’ BS. This is what’s referred to as free market; but it ain’t free!

Hosmer hired Borass to get him the best deal possible and if he becomes a superstar he’ll leave like so many other great players before him.

Take the money and long-term security if it is offered to you kid. You never know what is going to happen to the sport, the economy, and most importantly, to your body. THAT is the soundest advice he can get.

My god it’s rough being a Royals fan. Hopefully we can make a playoff run by 2016…sad yes, but that’s the goal before these studs pull a Damon, Beltran, Dye, etc.

Sure would have been nice to have control of him through the 2017 season but that would have meant waiting three weeks to call him up, which obviously would have made no sense…apparently, according to non Royals fans.
