Not a Braves fan, but everytime I read about this guy and his complaining, it reminds me of Chipper Jones’ move to left field. The guy had won a gold glove and an MVP as a 3rd baseman. In the prime of his career, he moved to left field because the Braves had signed Vinny Castilla and lost Ryan Klesko. They had 2 3rd baseman and no left fielder. He didnt complain like Jorge and Michael Young, but rather spent the offseason learning a new position. He was a bad outfielder, and made some pretty embarassing plays in the process, but the team got better. He never asked to return to the infield, and did what was asked of him. That is a guy I want on my team.

Probably because the dude they called up gets to bat 9th and they may want a more veteran guy in the 7th spot… or Joe Girardi caved in

I buy that Posada had a bad day, but if it was just a bad day and not batting 9th….why isn’t he batting 9th now?

In other Yankee news tonight, Jeter has struck out three times by the 6th inning. In the bottom of the 6th, he stood like a statue while a probable double play ball hit by Damon went by him. The vast majority of short stops would have got it and would have begun the double play.
