Reuters Colby Rasmus has rejoined the Cardinals’ lineup for today’s game against the Astros after missing the past four games with an abdominal injury.
I’m presuming that Rasmus isn’t fully healthy quite yet, but agreed to play anyway because the Cardinals are without both Lance Berkman and Matt Holliday, who left yesterday’s game with injuries.
Had Rasmus also not been able to play manager Tony La Russa might have trotted out a lineup crazy enough to make everyone forget that Albert Pujols started at third base the other day.

I’m waiting for the bone headed comments from his old man trying to live vicariously thru his son.

Let’s hope JD Rasmus doesn’t take himself out of the game today. Five tool player? C’mon!
