The biggest problem with baseball attendance has nothing to do with lack of offense. It’s the US economy problems along with the average cost of MLB tickets, which go up every year. They need to reduce the ticket prices to reflect the economy as a whole, and I believe attendance would go up.

The attendance problems won’t be “solved” by more offense, because that isn’t the problem. Once it stops raining, more people have money in their pockets, and team realize that they out-priced many fans, attendance numbers will increase again.

Here’s my solution:

Eliminate the pitcher and let the batters use an aluminum bat, through up the ball in the air and hit it. Also, replace the baseball with a golfball. Offense will increase by 5000%.

Also, they should bring the greenies back into the locker room and give it to them intravenously.
