MASN played Rizzo's comments during last night's game, between Nats home runs. Sounded like a politician trying to explain his way out of an embarrassing situation. Except for the part about respecting Torre. A politician would be looking for ways to rip Torre, if he thought doing so would make him look better.

There now seems to be much doubt as to what really happened. If Rizzo confronted Cuzzi and Joe Torre decides a small fine is in order, Rizzo needs to express further respect from Torre and move on.

If it turns out that Cuzzi was the one being confrontational, then he should be disciplined. If that does happen, MLB won't publicize it.
