In any case, if there is a “have” or “has” in front of it, DJ, it’s “gone” not “went.” The same applies to “undergone” versus “underwent.” So you are correct that DeRosa “underwent an MRI,” but incorrect when you say he “has underwent two previous procedures…”

Probably a third of us cringe every time we see you make this error, another third wonder if it’s correct or not, and a third don’t even notice. But you’re a writer by profession (and one I like quite a bit, by the way), and it’s probably time to finally get this one right. Best…
